"Being labelled as Casanova, I wasn't sure about the role of Casanova hence, watched it." Found it appealing with the performance of Heath Ledger and the classic Italian playart which is although having a starcast of Britain except Heath Ledger in the leading roles.

This movie is fairly based on the life of Giacomo Casanova who in his memoirs remembers the life he had during his young days having affiars with the women from Royalties all over Europe. His autobiography, Histoire de ma vie (Story of My Life), is regarded as one of the most authentic sources of the customs and norms of European social life during the 18th century. His name is still notoriously labelled as a player, a womaniser which is a synonym in present age. (I'm not sure whether why is it given to me)
