In the Spring before The Day After, NBC aired a 93-minute long mockumentary depicting home-grown terrorism at a port in Charleston, South Carolina. Absolutely brilliant as a multi-camera production from the early 1980s, it would be a LOT of fun to make a spiritual successor with modern HD gear!

This video (I can't call it a film!) is quite rare, and while other copies are on YouTube, this one probably looks the best. Though obviously, it will become even noisier once this site further decimates it...

Look for the breaking of the third wall, where the one character says something to the extent of "...NBC would kill for this footage..." How ironic. LOL.
