This is one of the greatest films ever made in my opinion and having spent so much time watching and re-watching it for creating the subtitles (and I must have already seen in a dozen times over the years) my admiration for it just grows and grows, less a film and more a non-linear cosmic puzzle. Post-modern before it's time with multiple timelines and narratives with various points of conceptual decryption scattered throughout the three hours.

The best recommendation for this film is the simple fact it was one of Luis Buñuel's favourite films who hardly ever saw the same film twice, he liked this film so much, saw it three times.
