Bharthavudyogam is the story of an egoistic husband , Unnikrishnan Namboodiri ( Jagadish), who is forced to live on wife Umadevi's (Athira) expense. Unnikrishnan gets suspicious of Uma's relation with her boss Reji Menon (Siddique). The film is all about how this suspicion destroy their family life and Reji's personnel life as well. The mystery behind Reji's character makes the movie a suspense thriller too. The presence of Salim Kumar, Bindu Panikkar, Jagathy Sreekumar, and Cochin Haneefa makes the audience laugh with no control. Movie is the perfect blend for the family audience.
