Aren't these comments by Whitmore's Truman just as relevant today; maybe MORE? The wonderful actor James Whitmore as President Harry S Truman in a one-man stage play recorded live in 1973.

Hell Hole is the story of Tyler and Rick, two dudes who can't seem to get going in life. They play in a band, work at the local fast food joint, and hook up with hot babes online.

When they meet their most recent dates at a bar on the edge of town, everything seems to be going fine, that is until somebody has to pee. What you may think is a door to the bathroom can turn out to be a barrier keeping Hell's darkest and nastiest creatures at bay. "Whoops, sorry dude, wrong door."

Now it's up to the dudes to save the world from Hell's onslaught. With help from others they meet along the way, they must save their dates and the world before it's to late. Will they have the courage and the motivation?

This is a rare low budget gem that fans of Asian splatter will likely get a kick out of. Gory eye candy is on display for much of the running time, and includes some great graphic dismemberment as well as other forms of mutilation. Like another reviewer pointed out, the middle portion of the film goes on too long and could have been shortened to make for a better paced and more enjoyable watch. The whole cult angle is a bit over played but the movie pretty much redeems itself.

Bottom line: If you like stuff such as the guinea pig movies or Story of Ricky then this will be an entertaining flick. There is tons of weird imagery, extreme gore, and the monsters are cool to watch. You may have a hard time finding it, but there's usually one or two available on ebay.
